• We Recommend: Feirm Chinn Sléibhe (Slea Head Farm) is Europe’s most western family-run farm and guesthouse. It sits high on the cliffs above the Atlantic Ocean at the tip of the Dingle Peninsula, on the Slea Head Drive, between Caenn Trá and Dún Chaoin. It offers magnificent views over the Atlantic and treats you with fine Irish spoken by the owners.

• We Recommend: Nic Gearailt B&B is situated in the heart of the Gaeltacht in Baile na nGall (Ballydavid) and nestled between Mount Brandon, Ireland’s second highest mountain (925 metres) and Smerwick Harbour on the Northern side of the Dingle Peninsula. This bungalow is the Irish-speaking home of Máire Dolores and Thomás Mac Gearailt and family who offer homely accommodation, home cooking and friendly atmosphere. Nic Gearailt is an ideal base from which to explore the un-spoilt area rich in flora and fauna and archaeological sites such as Gallarus Oratory and Cill Maolcéadar Church. It is a walkers and hill climber’s paradise.
• An Spéice is a family run B&B in Baile an Fheirtéaraigh (Ballyferriter). The B&B is located within a 5 minute walk to the village of Baile an Fheirtéaraigh (Ballyferriter) where you will find three traditional pubs and a Hotel serving fine food and where the native Irish language can be heard amongst the locals.

An Daingean // Daingean Uí Chúis (Dingle)

While An Daingean is officially within the Gaeltacht region, many businesses are run only through English. Especially for family-run B&Bs, ask before you book if they are native speakers!

Hotels

• Emlagh House is a luxury country house located in Dingle, Co. Kerry and surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean. The hotel is located in An Daingean, the film location for the Ryan’s Daughter.
• The Castlewood House is a luxurious guesthouse located on the shores of Dingle Bay, just a five minute walk from the centre of An Daingean.
• Heaton’s Guesthouse lies on the shore of An Daingean, located on the edge of the water with a magnificent view of Dingle bay and Harbour, only 5 minutes walk to the town centre.
• Milltown House Guesthouse overlooks the Dingle Bay harbour area, and is located very near to An Daingean town centre, at the beginning of Slea Head Drive.

• Milestone House is a family B&B near An Daingean. Its attraction are the breathtaking views of Dingle Bay and the position along the Slea Head Drive. This is the perfect base for exploring one of the country’s most spectacular regions - the Dingle Peninsula. The area offers a range of walking options as well as excellent angling facilities while nearby An Daingean has a fantastic selection of traditional Irish pubs and seafood restaurants.
• Emlagh Lodge is located near An Daingean and offers breathtaking views of the bay and harbour, the town centre is just a 5 minute walk along the shoreline. There are fine restaurants, shops, art galleries and craft centres making traditional Irish goods.
• Lighthouse B&B is a family run accommodation offering wonderful views of Dingle Harbour. Pub, restaurants and shops in An Daingean are 10 minute walk away.
